Hi Sera! Great photos! I found your blog through the link-up at Click It Up a Notch. My husband and I are in the process of creating a new feature at The Albums to help our members begin and finish a Project 365.
I was wondering…since your project is off to such a great start, what’s one piece of advice you would tell someone about to embark on one?

Thank you so much 🙂 What a great project you are starting. This in fact is my 2nd year, but 3rd attempt at it. My 1st attempt I did themes to keep me going, instead of doing just a random photo. I wanted to challenge myself a little in the beginning. But this time around, I am doing something completely different, I am trying to put up pics that are more creative. So far, for the most part, I am doing ok.
One piece of advice I would give someone who is about to embark on a 365 is to share your project with everyone. Share on a social media site or make a blog just for the 365.
Taking 365 photos during the year that fits which ever theme your going for is great. But at times it can get discouraging, that is why if you share it with others, they can lift you up when needed, and you can lift them in return, when they need you. Plus it’s always fun to get comments. And slowly over time, you begin to build a friendship with a like minded person, who loves photography as much as you do.

Thanks so much for getting back to me, Sera, and for the great advice! I love that 365 can be such a great way to make new and like-minded friends…We are going to write a couple of blog posts about starting a Project 365… would you mind if we ever quote you and link back to your site?
